PRE & POST- 17TH PICU NICU WORKSHOPS I OFFLINE
To highlight the significance of this vital component of 17th Indonesian PICU NICU Update in conjunction with PIT 3 Terpadu PERPEDSI 2026, Indonesian PICU NICU Update will feature interactive pre and post symposium workshops. These offline pre-setting workshops held on Thursday – Friday, 09 – 10 July 2026 in Jakarta, which include scientific lectures, case studies with hands-on workshops tailored to enhance practical learning, and post-setting on 13 – 14 July 2026. WELCOME DINNER SYMPOSIUM
A special Welcome Dinner Symposium will be held on Friday, 10 July 2026, from 18:30 to 20:00, offering participants an engaging evening session that combines networking over dinner with an insightful scientific presentation with the topic “From Barriers to Best Practice: Promoting Adequate Growth and Neurodevelopment for Preterm Infants with Breast Milk and Human Milk Fortifier”, presented by renowned neonatology expert Prof. Dr. dr. Rinawati Rohsiswatmo, Sp.A, Subsp.Neo(K), and moderated by Dr. dr. Putri Maharani, Sp.A, Subsp.Neo(K). This session will provide valuable insights into optimizing nutrition strategies to support growth and neurodevelopment in preterm infants. Due to limited seating capacity, participants are kindly requested to make RSVP and confirm their attendance when registering.

EXHIBITION
17th Indonesian PICU NICU Update in conjunction with PIT 3 Terpadu PERPEDSI 2026 will host a showcase featuring the latest information, including cutting-edge technology, equipment for clinical management and research, as well as literature from Saturday – Sunday, 11 – 12 July 2026.

KEYNOTE LECTURE
The keynote lecture features a distinguished speaker who will present the latest scientific updates and breakthroughs in the fields from anaesthesia, neonatal & pediatric ICU to perioperative care, offering new perspectives that enrich clinical practice and inspire wider horizon. This session is designed as a focused presentation without discussion, allowing participants to gain clear, evidence-based insights directly from an expert’s experience and studies.

INTERDISCIPLINARY CASE-BASED DISCUSSION

Starting this year the 17th Indonesian PICU NICU Update in conjunction with PIT 3 Terpadu PERPEDSI 2026 is officially launching the special blended session of “Interdisciplinary Case-Based Discussion” for sick children and neonates, presents a collaborative forum where Neonatologists, Pediatric Intensivists; Surgeons, and Anesthesiologists engage in the discussion of real, day-to-day clinical cases. Through shared perspectives, the session aims to promote problem-solving across disciplines and develop unified approaches and practical guidelines for managing complex pediatric and neonatal conditions within a truly multidisciplinary framework. NICU Case-Based Discussion will be held on 11 July 2026 and PICU Case-Based Discussion on 12 July 2026.

PARALEL SESSIONS
Running concurrently on Saturday – Sunday, 11–12 July 2026, the parallel sessions will explore the latest updates and practical insights across three focused tracks: Neonatal (NICU), Pediatric (PICU), and multidisciplinary collaboration in Pediatric Anaesthesia; Surgery, & Perioperative Care. Participants can choose sessions tailored to their professional interests, gaining in-depth knowledge and best practices from leading clinicians and researchers in each specialty.

BREAK/LUNCH SYMPOSIUM
The Special Lecture sessions provide an exclusive platform to explore emerging technologies, breakthrough therapies, and innovative solutions in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Medicine. Presented in collaboration with industry partners and distinguished experts, these sessions will highlight evidence-based advancements and practical applications in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Medicine across multidisciplinary fields—offering participants valuable insights to enhance clinical decision-making and improve patient outcome.

CALL FOR E-POSTER PRESENTATION
The Organizing Committee of the 17th Indonesian PICU NICU Update 2026 warmly invites healthcare professionals, researchers, and clinicians to submit their research papers or case reports to share clinical experiences, innovative research findings, and evidence-based practices related to the management of critically ill neonates and children. Selected abstracts will be presented in the E-Poster Presentation Session on Saturday, 11 July 2026, offering an opportunity for professional exchange, constructive feedback, and recognition among peers and experts in pediatric and neonatal critical care.

HYRBID FORMAT
To accommodate colleagues who are unable to travel to Jakarta, the 17th Indonesian PICU NICU Update 2026 will be conducted in a hybrid format, offering full online access to the main scientific symposium.
