CRITICAL CARE OF NEUROLOGIC SYSTEM I

The pediatric critical care community has shifted focus from survival to survival with favourable neurologic outcomes of children admitted to the PICU. The initial review of this Webinar is to evaluate general neurophysiology and neurodevelopment of healthy paediatric, however with increasing survival of children requiring admission to pediatric intensive care units (PICU), neurodevelopmental outcomes of these patients are an area of increased attention, such as the impact of ICU care on relevant neurodevelopment of severely ill children. The review will be included intracranial pressure and cerebral blood flow & metabolism, and its relationship with the comatose children. The Webinar is aimed to review the systematically management on neurologic outcomes of PICU patients.
